Joel Klatt asked Gus Johnson about his mentors throughout his life and how he got into broadcasting. Gus discussed a few of his mentors throughout his life including his father and a college professor. Joel and Gus talk about working with each other in the booth on Big Noon Kickoff and describe their partnership as co-hosting the broadcast instead of a play-by-play and a color commentator.
