LAFC and Philadelphia Union faced off in Los Angeles for the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League semi-finals. LA was quick to the ball and scored in the twelve minute after Timothy Tillman shot from the six yard box following a corner. Neither team was successful in securing a goal for the remainder of the half, though Philadelphia came close with a shot to the left post in the 36th minute. Half would arrive at 1-0. LAFC found their second goal of the night in the 82nd minute after a powerful strike by Kwadwo Opoku from the left side of the box. A slip up by Philadelphia’s defense resulted in LA’s third and final goal in the 90th minute scored by Dénis Bouanga. The match concluded 3-0.
