Video Details

Honduras and Haiti faced off in the final game of the group stage for each team in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Both teams needed a victory, and it was evident as the game was gritty. Haiti came out with a lot of energy, which resulted in Frantzdy Pierrot scoring in 20′. However, after that, it was all Honduras, as they responded with the equalizer late in the first half, with Jerry Bengtson scoring in 42′. The second half was again physical as both teams received yellow cards; however, Honduras’ energy in the first half transferred over as Jose Mario Pinto Paz scored an amazing header in the 59′. The second half went back and forth, and Haiti had opportunities; however, Honduras ended up victorious.
