Week 4 featured major shakeups in several futures awards markets, including new favorites emerging for MVP and Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Here’s how the odds have shifted following last week’s action:

Most Valuable Player

Last week’s showdown between the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins predictably shook up the MVP race. Allen leapfrogged Tagovailoa, Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts after Allen had 320 yards, four touchdowns and a perfect 158.3 passer rating last week. Tagovailoa fell from +300 to +500 and is now the second favorite. Mahomes’ odds remain +550 for a third straight week. All three play in games with totals of 48 or higher this season, so each one have a chance to pad their numbers this week. Joe Burrow entered the year at +700, the second favorite, but his odds have slipped all the way to 60-1 amid his poor performance.

Offensive Player of the Year

McCaffrey entered the year as the 11-1 co-favorite with Ja’Marr Chase. He was the +400 favorite last week, just ahead of Tyreek Hill (+450). McCaffrey’s odds shortened significantly following 177 scrimmage yards and 4 touchdowns last week. McCaffrey leads the NFL in scrimmage yards and touchdowns for the unbeaten 49ers, making him a worthy favorite. Hill and Justin Jefferson are the only other players shorter than 15-1 (both are +450).

Defensive Player of the Year

  • Favorite: Micah Parsons (+150)

  • Last week’s favorite: Parsons (+150)

This market is virtually identical to last week with Parsons remaining the +150 favorite and Myles Garrett remaining +350. T.J. Watt dropped from +350 to +425. Parsons had no sacks last week against the Patriots, the first time all year he was held without a sack. This week, Parsons and the Cowboys face the 49ers on Sunday Nigh Football.

Offensive Rookie of the Year

Robinson had been the favorite in this market from the time he was drafted until Sunday. But now it is Stroud in pole position. Stroud was 14-1 two weeks ago, but after leading the Texans to back-to-back wins, he has surpassed Robinson. The Falcons running back slipped to 4-1, the longest odds he has ever had in this market. Three other rookies are right on their heels with Puka Nacua +450 and De’Von Achane and Anthony Richardson both +500. Nacua set the NFL record for most receptions and receiving yards by a rookie through four games.

Defensive Rookie of the Year

  • Favorite: Jalen Carter (+100)

  • Last week’s favorite: Carter (+100)

Jalen Carter remains the even-money favorite to win Defensive Rookie of the Year. Carter moved to +100 after forcing two fumbles in Week 3, but he was held without a sack last week. Carter’s 1.5 sacks are tied for fifth among rookies, while his 10 pressures are second-most behind preseason favorite Will Anderson Jr. The big move last week was by Seahawks cornerback Devon Witherspoon, who moved from 16-1 to +150 after recording two sacks and a pick-six on Monday Night Football against the Giants. Anderson slipped from +425 to +850 last week.

Coach of the Year

Campbell rejoined McDaniel as the co-favorite to win Coach of the Year after the Lions win on Thursday night in Green Bay. Campbell entered the year as the 10-1 co-favorite with Arthur Smith and has never been longer than 10-1 this season. McDaniel was 18-1 at the start of the season but moved into pole position after Week 2. Kyle Shanahan is the third favorite at 8-1, while DeMeco Ryans moved from 25-1 to 9-1 after last week’s win.
