Aaron Rodgers hasn’t played in an NFL game since tearing his Achilles in the season opener, but the New York Jets quarterback recently announced that he plans to return to practice on Dec. 2 … and bettors noticed.
Rodgers’ odds to win Comeback Player of the Year are at +2000 (bet $10 to win $210 total), tied for the fourth-shortest in the league after being tied for sixth before his proclamation.
FOX Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer reported on Rodgers’ potential plans over the weekend.
“He’s actually going to go back to the Jets this week [and] start training with them,” said Glazer, when asked about the possibility of Rodgers’ return this season. “He actually sent the Jets video of him working out this week, [and] it kind of blew their minds.”

Damar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills opened the season as a huge favorite to win the award at -500. This was in the wake of the safety’s life-threatening collapse suffered during the 2022 season.
He has played in two games, making one solo tackle as his odds moved from -105 to -140. Hamlin remains the betting favorite despite only playing in two games.
Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa remained the second betting choice, but his odds dropped from +175 to +225.
Joshua Dobbs, who zoomed up the oddsboard after taking over as starting quarterback for the Vikings, saw his odds improve from +400 to +380.
Rodgers is tied with QBs Lamar Jackson of the Ravens and Baker Mayfield of the Buccaneers at +2000.
Making a big move was Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson. Wilson’s odds went from +5000 to +2500 after his touchdown pass with a minute left gave Denver a 21-20 win over Dobbs and the Vikings.
Zach Wilson, who took over after Rodgers got hurt, was benched during Sunday’s game against the Bills. His odds tumbled from +5000 to +15000.
