Three quarterbacks — Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye — are among the 13 players who have accepted invitations to be in attendance at the NFL draft in Detroit, the league announced Thursday.
USC‘s Williams, the 2022 Heisman Trophy winner, is the presumptive No. 1 pick of the Chicago Bears when the draft kicks off the first of three days April 25 (8 p.m. ET, ESPN/ABC).
LSU‘s Daniels, who won the Heisman last season, and North Carolina‘s Maye are expected to follow directly after at picks Nos. 2 and 3, which are held by the Washington Commanders and New England Patriots, respectively.
Receivers also will be well represented in Detroit, with Ohio State‘s Marvin Harrison Jr., the top-rated player at the position, being joined by LSU teammates Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. and Washington‘s Rome Odunze.
Three Alabama players — linebacker Dallas Turner, cornerback Terrion Arnold and offensive tackle JC Latham — are also scheduled to be in attendance. UCLA linebacker Laiatu Latu, Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell and Missouri defensive lineman Darius Robinson will also be there.
The NFL draft begins April 25 with the first round followed by the second and third rounds on April 26. The draft concludes on April 27 with rounds four through seven.
