Is the NBA championship the Celtics’ to lose?
The defending champion Denver were in an 0-2 hole at the hands of Minnesota in the Western Conference semifinals, but have since tied that series at two games apiece. Meanwhile, Boston is up 2-1 in its Eastern Conference semifinals matchup against Cleveland.
The Celtics have been at or near the top of the NBA Finals oddsboard all season, and at FanDuel Sportsbook, they are currently favored to win the East (-600) and win the NBA title (-140).
The Nuggets are now the +135 favorites to win the West, and second on the title oddsboard at +370.
