NFL Week 15 odds attracted plenty of interesting parlay wins and major wagers. But the spotlight this week has to shine on one of the more unusual bets to cash big.

Zero touchdowns in the Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers game on Thursday night.

Yes, no TDs scored is a prop bet offered on each NFL game by most sportsbooks. And in this case, it hit and hit well.

More on that NFL prop winner, along with notable parlays, other unique wins and big bets — winners and losers alike — as we recap NFL Week 15 betting, along with a little college football betting.

Field-Goal Festival

The first half of the Rams-49ers game was played in steady rain, leading to a 3-3 halftime tie. The rain died off in the second half, but the lack of touchdowns remained.

There were six scores in the game, all of them field goals, as Los Angeles won 12-6.

At DraftKings Sportsbook, a customer put $100 on the prop of no touchdown scorer, at +18000 odds (180/1). So the bettor pocketed a hefty $18,000 in profit.

A FanDuel customer played the same bet, though at significantly longer odds of +26000 (260/1). The problem? The bettor only wagered $1, so the win was only $260. Still, you can’t argue with that kind of ROI.

On the flip side of that bet, in the same game, more than 15,000 FanDuel customers played a four-leg anytime TD parlay of:

  • Rams wideout Cooper Kupp
  • Rams wideout Puka Nacua
  • Rams running back Kyren Williams
  • 49ers wideout Jauan Jennings

So 15,000-plus bettors saw none of those four — or anyone else — reach the end zone.

Parlay Partay

Stringing together anytime touchdown scorers on a parlay is becoming a popular way to turn a little into a lot. That was again the case in Week 15 NFL odds.

And in this case, a DraftKings customer did so on a $25 bonus bet. In other words, a free roll. The bettor used the bonus bet on a seven-leg anytime TD parlay of:

All seven players scored touchdowns Sunday, at odds of +89113, or about 891/1. So, in a free bet, the customer pocketed $22,278.30.

How about a notable six-figure win on a four-leg parlay tied entirely to Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen? The bet was a little larger, at $380, banking on Allen to:

  • Pass for 350 or more yards (362)
  • Score the first TD (he did)
  • Throw two or TD passes (he threw two)
  • Rush for 60 or more yards (68)

At hefty odds of +42500 (425/1), the customer collected $161,500 in profit.

Two-TD Triumph

A FanDuel Sportsbook customer put just two bucks on a three-leg parlay, banking on three players to each score two or more touchdowns in their respective games.

Cincinnati’s Chase Brown, Houston’s Nico Collins and Washington’s Terry McLaurin each hit paydirt twice on Sunday. That turned a $2 bet into $1,233.10.

Here’s Hoping You Had It

It’s not all about cashing out wild parlays for thousands or tens of thousands of dollars. When you multiply any wager by 10 or 20, or in this case 27, that’s gonna nicely pad your wallet or pocketbook.

At FanDuel, Ravens wideout Rashod Bateman was +2700 (27/1) to score two or more touchdowns. If you just put a tenner on that, then you’d have profited $270.

I Like Big Bets And I Cannot Lie

Per usual, there was a gaggle of six-figure bets on Week 15 NFL odds. The most significant wager went begging: $220,000 on Lions -2 vs. Bills, at Caesars Sports. Detroit lost outright 48-42, so that major wager ended up being a major donation to the house.

A BetMGM customer put $180,000 on Chiefs moneyline -225. For that bet to cash, Kansas City just had to win at Cleveland, not cover the 4-point spread. The Chiefs did both, though, in a 21-7 victory, so the bettor profited $80,000, for a total payout of $260,000.

More major wagers from Caesars Sports:

  • $120,000 Seahawks +3 (-120) vs. Packers. Seattle loses 30-13 and fails to cover.
  • $115,000 Panthers -2.5 (-115) vs. Cowboys. Carolina, a favorite for the first time since the 2022-23 season, loses 30-14.
  • $110,000 Cardinals -5.5 vs. Patriots. Arizona wins 30-17, so the bettor profits $100,000 (total payout $210,000).
  • $110,000 Rams +3 vs. 49ers. Los Angeles wins outright 12-6, and the bettor nets $100,000 profit (total payout $210,000).
  • $105,000 Broncos -3.5 (-105) vs. Colts. Denver had luck on its side while winning 31-13. The bettor profits $100,000 (total payout $205,000).

We’ll wrap it up in the college ranks.

Back on Aug. 29, Barstool Sports’ Big Cat (Dan Katz) put $5,000 on Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter to win the Heisman Trophy, at odds of +4000 (40/1).

On Saturday night, Hunter won the award, and Big Cat cashed big for $200,000 in profit ($205,000 total payout) at DraftKings Sportsbook.

That was surely worth the 3.5-month wait. May we all be a fraction as fortuitous with our futures bets.
