2025-26 NBA Title Odds: OKC Favored; East Continues to be Jumbled

The Thunder are … still good.

Will OKC repeat as champions? Will a Western Conference foe be able to take its crown? Or will the league’s next power originate in the East?

Here are the NBA title futures at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Dec. 2.

Here is what to know about the NBA title oddsboard:

The Reigning Champs: Through 21 games, OKC is 20-1 (best record in the league) and Jalen Williams has only played two. OKC also has a league-high point differential of 15.4, and it is allowing a league-low 106.7 points per game. The best is getting better. Now, the question is, can the Thunder approach the all-time record of 73 regular-season wins, and potentially win 74 or more. As of today, they are on pace to do just that.

Immediate Contenders: Second on the board is Denver. Despite the Nuggets having the best offense in the league (124.6 points per game) and the third-best point differential (+8.7), they have lost four straight at home, to the Bulls, Kings, Wemby-less Spurs and Mavericks. Oddly, despite both being in the Northwest Division, the Nuggets and Thunder play for the first time on Feb. 1, over three months into the season.

East Up For Grabs: Will the East favorite please stand up? Detroit has the best record in the conference (17-4), followed by New York (13-6), Miami (14-7), Toronto (14-7), Orlando (13-8) and Cleveland (13-9). Still, the Cavs are the East team with the shortest title odds, sitting fourth on the board. The Knicks are sixth, and the Pistons are ninth.
