In the NFL, winning your division is often a sign that you can win the Super Bowl.
Consider this: Of the last 14 Super Bowl champions, only one did not win its division in the regular season — Tom Brady’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers back in 2020.
In other words, teams should start with their division and go from there.
Let’s check out the odds for the division winners at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Dec. 23, as well as what to know about each division and its current standing.

NFC EAST
Eagles: Clinched division
What to know: For the first time since 2003 and 2004, the NFC East has a back-to-back winner.
NFC WEST
Seahawks: +100 (bet $10 to win $20 total)
49ers: +215 (bet $10 to win $31.50 total)
Rams: +330 (bet $10 to win $43 total)
What to know: A loss to Seattle in Week 16 will make things tricky for the Rams (11-4). Both the Seahawks (12-3) and 49ers (11-4) control their own destiny. If either wins out, they will claim the division. If either loses in Week 17, and the Rams win, L.A. is back in the mix. And if both Seattle and S.F. win in Week 17, the winner of their Week 18 tilt will win the division.
NFC NORTH
Bears: -900 (bet $10 to win $11.11 total)
Packers: +600 (bet $10 to win $70 total)
What to know: The Bears (11-4) can clinch the division with either one more win or one more loss by Green Bay (9-5-1). It’s that simple. It would be Chicago’s first NFC North title since 2018.
NFC SOUTH
Buccaneers: -150 (bet $10 to win $16.67 total)
Panthers: +125 (bet $10 to win $22.50 total)
What to know: The Panthers (8-7) took the lead in this division with a win over Tampa Bay (7-8) in Week 16. The two teams will face off again in Week 18. If Carolina wins (or ties) in Week 17 and the Bucs lose, the Panthers win the division. If the opposite happens, or both lose in Week 17, the division will come down to that Week 18 game.
AFC EAST
Patriots: -600 (bet $10 to win $11.67 total)
Bills: +450 (bet $10 to win $55 total)
What to know: If New England (12-3) wins its final two games, it wins the division. If it wins one game and Buffalo (11-4) loses one, New England can also win the division that way. If the Bills win both of their remaining games, and the Pats lose one more, Buffalo wins the division.
AFC WEST
Broncos: -320 (bet $10 to win $13.13 total)
Chargers: +260 (bet $10 to win $36 total)
What to know: This one is interesting. If the Chargers (11-4) win out, including a victory over Denver (12-3) in Week 18, the division is theirs. If the Chargers lose one of their final two games, and the Broncos win one, the division belongs to Denver. If both win in Week 17, it will come down to their Week 18 head-to-head matchup.
AFC NORTH
Steelers: -1400 (bet $10 to win $10.71 total)
Ravens: +800 (bet $10 to win $90 total)
What to know: Pittsburgh (9-6) needs either one win or one Baltimore (7-8) loss to claim the division. If the Steelers lose in Week 17, and Baltimore wins, the division will come down to their Week 18 head-to-head matchup.
AFC SOUTH
Jaguars: -550 (bet $10 to win $11.82 total)
Texans: +400 (bet $10 to win $50 total)
What to know: The Jaguars (11-4) need to finish with a better record than the Texans (10-5) since Houston owns the tiebreaker. That means Jacksonville can clinch the division if it wins out, or if it wins once more and Houston loses once more. If the Texans win out, and the Jags go 1-1, Houston wins the division.
