AFC Conference winner
Broncos: +230 (bet $10 to win $33 total)
Patriots: +380 (bet $10 to win $48 total)
Bills: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Jaguars: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)
Texans: +550 (bet $10 to win $65 total)
Chargers: +1200 (bet $10 to win $130 total)
Steelers: +1700 (bet $10 to win $180 total)
What to know: Entering the playoffs, it’s Denver that is the favorite to make it out of the AFC. Yes, the same team that put an end to Kansas City’s streak of nine straight AFC West titles is favored to replace it as the AFC Super Bowl representative.
Both the Broncos and Patriots ended the regular season at 14-3, but Denver won the tiebreaker based on win percentage against common opponents. That proves to be a huge advantage for the Broncos, considering they get a first-round bye and the Pats host the Chargers in the AFC wild-card. Then, of course, in the divisional round, Denver will host the lowest remaining seed.
That 1-seed hits different, don’t it?
Of those seven teams in the AFC postseason field, only two have won the conference in the past decade: Denver in 2015 and New England in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Since 2019, Kansas City has represented the AFC in the Super Bowl five out of six years. The Bills last won the AFC in 1993, the Chargers last won it in 1994, and the Steelers last won it in 2010. The Jags and Texans have never won the conference.
NFC Conference winner
Seahawks: +170 (bet $10 to win $27 total)
Rams: +230 (bet $10 to win $33 total)
Eagles: +475 (bet $10 to win $57.50 total)
Bears: +950 (bet $10 to win $105 total)
Packers: +1100 (bet $10 to win $120 total)
49ers: +1300 (bet $10 to win $140 total)
Panthers: +5000 (bet $10 to win $510 total)
What to know: The NFC West is the focus of this board, with the Seahawks and Rams in first and second, respectively. It was Seattle, however, that captured the 1-seed going away, finishing two games ahead of both L.A. (5-seed) and San Francisco (6-seed), and three games ahead of Chicago (2-seed) and Philadelphia (3-seed).
The Seahawks’ path could prove a little tricky, however, considering they will play the lowest seed remaining in the divisional round, but the three lowest seeds playing on wild-card weekend are the Rams, 49ers and Packers.
In terms of recent NFC champions, the Eagles won the conference in 2017, 2022 and 2024. The 49ers won it in 2019 and 2023. The Rams won it in 2018 and 2021.
The Panthers won it in 2015, the Seahawks last won it in 2014, the Packers last won the conference in 2010, and the Bears last won it in 2006.
