There’s one remaining undefeated team in men’s college basketball: Miami (Ohio).
The RedHawks are up to No. 22 in the latest AP Top 25 poll, as of Feb. 16.
How long can they stay perfect?
Here’s the latest:
Miami went on the road and secured a 86-77 win over UMass on Feb. 17. The week prior, the RedHawks took care of business against in-state foe Ohio on Feb. 13, 90-74, and beat Marshall by double digits, 90-74, on Feb. 7.
Miami will go for 27-0 when it hosts Bowling Green on Friday night (8:30 p.m. ET).
The RedHawks are in a curious spot, though. They haven’t had a single Quad 1 matchup yet, but they’re also 10-0 on the road, 1-0 in neutral locations and have a Quad 2 win under their belt. Miami won’t face a single ranked opponent all season, though Akron, which the RedHawks have already defeated, is 62nd in NET. (Miami itself is ranked 51st there.) Three of Miami’s 25 wins are against Division II opponents, but it has handled Division I teams just fine, too.
