It was the first UFL championship for D.C. and now the reigning champions look to defend their place on the throne.

Quarterback Jordan Ta’amu has carried this team all year, helping lead this squad that has scored at least 24 points in each of its victories. In the team’s most recent win, Ta’amu completed 20-of-28 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns. The Defenders’ odds moved to -110 from +150 after notching their most recent win.

After that stealthy performance, their title odds shortened to +400 from +650. And quarterback Harrison Frost was a big part of the Battlehawks’ winning equation, completing 22 of 40 passes for 236 yards with two touchdowns and only one interception.
