2026 World Cup Group Stage Odds: USA Favored to Win Group D
SHARE

The group stage is the first step toward World Cup glory.

All 48 nations playing in the 2026 FIFA World Cup have been divided into 12 groups (labeled A-L) of four teams each. With the expanded knockout format of 32 teams advancing past the group stage, winning the group has become more important than ever.

After beating South Africa 2-0 in the World Cup’s opening match, Mexico’s odds to win Group A moved from -140 to -185. Additionally, after South Korea’s comeback win over Czechia, its odds to win the group surged from +350 to +195.

Both Czechia and South Africa, two nations who both lost on day one of the tournament, saw their odds decrease significantly.

With the first matches of Group A now in the books, all eyes turn to Group D on Friday.

Can the U.S. men’s national team replicate Mexico’s strong start to the tournament in their opening match against Paraguay and take firm control of Group D?

Let’s check out the latest odds for all 12 groups at FanDuel Sportsbook, as of June 12.
