An unconventional start to the night didn’t affect Dallas Cowboys wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens‘ Week 11 performances, but it did raise questions.

Lamb and Pickens were benched for the opening drive of the Cowboys’ 33-16 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football. Instead, the Cowboys started receivers Jalen Tolbert, Ryan Flournoy and KaVontae Turpin.

Despite the awkward way the game began, however, the receiver duo still dominated Las Vegas. Pickens led all players with nine receptions for 144 yards and a touchdown, while Lamb recorded five receptions for 66 yards and a touchdown.

Dallas received the opening kick and went three-and-out, gaining six yards, all on rushes by Javonte Williams. Quarterback Dak Prescott’s pass attempt to Tolbert was incomplete on third-and-4.

Lamb and Pickens entered the game on Dallas’ second possession, and Lamb had his touchdown reception early in the second quarter. Pickens went on to score his two drives later.
