The four-peat has been completed.
Àlex Palou clinched his fourth straight INDYCAR title on Sunday. His third-place finish at the Grand Prix of Portland at Portland International Raceway gave him enough points to give him the 2025 INDYCAR championship.
Will Power, meanwhile, picked up his first victory this season. While Palou didn’t win, it became evident that he would clinch the title early in the race. Pato O’Ward, who was the only other driver in contention to win the title entering Sunday, had issues with his car early on, causing him to slow down and fall way back in the pack of the race.
