Well, that was a wild start to Sunday’s games!
Five games in the early window of Week 3 were determined by one score, with three of them having a blocked field goal in the final minutes helping play a role in the final result.
The Eagles actually blocked two field goals late in their win over the Rams to remain undefeated. The Browns were able to get the biggest upset of the NFL season as well thanks to a blocked field goal, blocking a kick to help them beat the Packers. The Jets got a blocked field goal as well, but the Buccaneers wound up scoring shortly after to win the game.
In the 4:25 p.m. ET slate, the Cowboys and Bears battled it out in “America’s Game of the Week, with Chicago leaving victorious. Cardinals-49ers, and Broncos-Chargers also highlighted the slate, with the two California teams emerging with narrow wins.
